Who We Are

Wounds of Tradition was founded on the belief that every girl and woman has the right to live free from harm and discrimination. Our blog serves as an online platform to raise awareness about gender-based issues, including FGM, reproductive rights, economic inequality, and systemic violence against women. Through education, advocacy, and survivor support, we strive to create meaningful dialogue and contribute to the global fight for women’s rights and gender justice.

Our Mission and Vision

Our mission is to provide a platform for raising awareness about gender-based injustices, including the dangers of FGM, reproductive rights violations, and systemic violence against women. We support efforts to eradicate harmful practices, promote education, and empower communities to defend and uphold women's rights. We envision a future where girls and women live free from oppression, with the knowledge and resources to protect their autonomy and well-being.
